Accentuate the Positive!

Everything is energy.  People are energy.  Thoughts are energy.

When you think about something, you include it's energy in your experience.  Whether you are thinking about something you like or something you do not
like - you include it in your own experience.  This is physics, not philosophy.

Thought energy manifests.  Put enough thought into anything and it will manifest.

There is no "exclusion" in the universe.  Attention to  anything includes its energy in your experience.  You cannot exclude anything upon which you focus.  Even if while you focus on it you say loudly, "I do not want that!"  If you allow it to hold your attention, you are choosing to include it in your experience.

In other words, the only way to keep something unwanted from being included in your experience is to not give it a second thought.  The instant you focus a fraction of your attention on the unwanted, you invite it to become part of your experience.

A friend recently posted a horrific photo of animal abuse where I was unfortunate enough to come across it.  I only saw the image for a split second before I flipped away, but it kept coming to mind several times throughout my day.  It turned my stomach.  Then I thought how awful it must be to look at those images and focus on that subject daily.  The more my friend posts about the subject (even though she posts against the subject) the more space she gives it in her life, the more of her vital life force she pours into a subject she abhors.  Attention to something cannot diminish it.  Attention to something only allows that something to grow and allows more of it to flow into your experience.

You know those posts that say, "Give me 47 zillion likes if you hate cancer!"  They are often quite successful at getting 47 zillion people to add their thoughts to cancer.  Unfortunately all that focus increases the energy pouring into the manifestation of cancer, not the elimination or exclusion of the disease.

If you want to show support for someone challenged with cancer, the worst thing you can do is request prayers "because they have cancer."  Everyone instantly pictures him sick with cancer and adds to the cancer energy manifesting around him. You do not need to mention the medical diagnosis to receive an inpouring of positive energy.  Post a prayer request for everyone to visualize perfect health flowing steadily into this person's life as their body returns to balance.  Get 47 zillion people thinking those thoughts and watch how swiftly the body heals itself!

Then all that powerful prayer energy has an image of renewed vital health at it's core  - rather than an image of some "poor sick person."  Feel the difference?

"Hating cancer" lets fear of the unknown drain your vital energy and is NOT helpful to the patient or to you.  "Loving vitality and well-being" allows faith to guide your thoughts, infuses your energy levels and can be very helpful to the patient.

Promote what you love!  (You will receive more of it!)
Do not bash what you hate.  (Or you will receive more of it!)

Think about what you love all the time.  Talk about it.  Post about it.  Visualize it daily.  Pour your energy into what you love.

Our thoughts are powerful tools for manifestation.  We must choose wisely where we focus our attention and where we point the attention of others.

Woo Hoo!

We are going to Hawaii.

Jeremy and I are planning our first trip to Hawaii and we have been having a ball making plans!  We have reservations on Hawaiian Air for next May!

Our first 6 nights will be on the Big Island of Hawaii.  We are hoping there will be lava flowing into the sea while we are there!

First 3 nights we have reservations at Lava Lane Cottages in Pahoa that Jeremy found while looking at lava flow fields in Google Earth.  Here are some photos
of the lovely Palms Cottage that we have reserved.

Check out all the fabulous adventures nearby at this link: http://lavalanecottages.com/adventures.html.  I hope 3 nights is enough!

Then we move to the Kona Coast for 3 nights at the Royal Kona Resort.
It's not a luxury resort, because luxury is not in the budget, but it is on the beach
and that was a prime objective in this area.

Snorkeling is prime on the Kona Coast, so we plan to commune with the fishes
and hopefully some dolphins!

Being Hawaii, we also plan to take in a luau!
Here are more photos from the Royal Kona.

Exciting!  Oh, maybe I should add massage to the schedule!  :)

Then we are off to Kauai!  Here is the Prince Kuhio Resort in Poipu Kauai where we have reservations for 8 nights.  It looks like an amazing location!

This is our cute studio with an ocean view!

On Kauai we plan to tour the dramatic Na Pali Coast of Hollywood fame.

And there will be more snorkeling!

Aloha!

San Francisco Tourist

It's been a while since I posted anything to my blog.  That is not necessarily a bad thing since I am often inspired to write when I am confused by something and trying to work it out.  I feel blessed that everything is going my way!

Jeremy and I shared a beautiful day in San Francisco last week, August 23, 2012, and I ended up with some awesome photographs.  They made me feel happy as I was sorting through them, so I decided to share the joy.

So enjoy!

Bay Bridge

Coit Tower

Alcatraz from Fisherman's Wharf

Painting purchased for $20
On Fisherman's Wharf we watched an amazing street artist create this painting with cans of spray paint in less than 15 minutes.  It was like watching magic as the picture emerged and the crowd cheered.

Saint Francis of Assisi beneath Coit Tower

Cheerful lanterns in Chinatown
We ate salt and pepper squid at Yuet Lee, always worth a hike across the city!

Transamerica Pyramid

I can't help but feel there is a point to this photographs...

San Francisco Ferry Building

Coit Tower above San Francisco Bay

Leaving the City

The water churned behind the ferry like a horizontal waterfall.  It was mesmerizing.

The fog rolls in to blanket Marin.

Red Rock and Richmond Bridge
(Also known in family parlance as Bekkie's rock.)

Richmond Bridge

This was my favorite shot of the day because I find it so calming.
Doesn't it just invite you to relax?  Hmmmm...

My Path

I saw Esther Hicks in San Francisco yesterday.  The experience was, as always, educational, inspiring and consistently presented with abundant and obvious unconditional love.

If you do not know Esther, or have never experienced her translations of the teachings of Source Energy, start at this link:  abraham-hickslawofattraction.com.

The teachings of Abraham are a course of study that make up my spiritual path.  It is beyond the scope of this blog to explain these teachings other than how I use them in my own life.

I pay attention to my emotions. I focus on anything and everything that makes me happy or uplifts my spirit. I make an effort to take my attention away from anything that saddens me or makes me angry or hurts my feelings or causes any emotion that feels bad.

I meditate daily to sync up with the vibration of my Source.

I practice affirmations daily to retrain my mind from habitual negative thoughts into more positive beliefs.

Before I found this path I was plagued with self-doubt to the point of self-loathing on a regular basis.  Now I know daily that I am worthy of God's love and my own love as well.  My life is valuable beyond measure and I am a joy to my Creator.  I am transforming a life once filled with fear and negativity into a joyous life of faith where I have daily connection to the Source of all life.

Nothing I can say will teach anyone because words do not teach.  Only experience can teach.  It is simply a matter of practice for anyone to experience great joy and prosperity and abundant love in this physical lifetime.  I believe it only because my own experience upholds it to be so.

My writings here may inspire others to create their own practice in pursuit of joy, but that is not the purpose of my blog.  I write here to gain clarity, to remind myself of ancient truths that uplift my spirit and to amplify a joyful vibration that molds my point of attraction so that all the well-being of the Universe flows freely and abundantly into my life.

Since Esther/Abraham taught me that I am powerful enough to mold my own point of attraction, my life has become a joyous adventure!  I have conflict and challenges as all humans do.  But those challenges cannot kick me to the curb as long as I have faith that my connection to Source will sustain me, support me and flow love and abundance to me as often as I allow it to flow.

Cultivate a Positive Point of Attraction

There is no death.  We are non-physical, eternal beings focused here in physical form for the purpose of finding joy and balance.

Ninety-nine percent of you is currently non-physical.  One tiny percent of "All that is You" is physically focused here on earth.  The other 99% is still non-physical: your Source, Source Energy or God energy.

You are a physical extension of that which is God.  So is every person on the planet.  God energy or Source energy is flowing to you and through you all the time, a constant Source of wellness and abundance and love.

So if abundant wellness is always flowing to you - why do you feel like it is not reaching you?

Patterns of negative thoughts impede the flow of abundant wellness.  It takes practice, but negative thought patterns can be changed to positive thought patterns and then your point of attraction shifts and you will begin to thrive as all the abundance of the Universe flows into your life.

Emotions are the guidance system that indicates the direction of our travel.

If you feel fear or worry or anger most of the time, your vibration (by the Law of Attraction) draws more things to you that make you feel fearful, worried or angry.  Negative or "bad-feeling" emotions indicate that you are calling unwanted things to yourself.

If you feel happy or calm most of the time, your vibration (by the Law of Attraction) draws more things to you that make you feel happy and calm.  Positive or "good-feeling" emotions indicate that you are calling wanted things to yourself.

So you say: I am calling unwanted things to myself.  Here they are and I am looking right at them.  HOW do I then feel happy and calm so I can start calling wanted things to myself!?

The answer is this:  Stop looking at the unwanted things!  Distract yourself in any way you can because nothing is more important than that you feel good!

For example:  Let's say you have a day at the beach with very dear friends. Everything is lovely.  The scenery is gorgeous.  The weather is brisk.  The food and beverage selections are divine.  The company is delightful.  Then a stranger appears and interjects a negative experience - somewhat frightening for a moment, but the moment passes quickly along with the stranger.

What do you take away from this day?

Do you nurse your anger at the stranger and tell others about it to justify your anger?

You are justified, to be sure.  You have the right to be angry, but do you WANT to be angry?

Do you want to vibrate angry thoughts that attract more angry thoughts and drive your blood pressure to the brink because you are RIGHT to be angry at the stranger?  Or would you just as soon let it go?

How do you let go?  Remove your attention from the unwanted and place it firmly back on the wanted - or the appreciated aspects of your day.

Enjoy the scenery and the crash of the surf.  Enjoy the taste of your freshly brewed iced tea.  Sing a song with your companions and lift everyone's spirits.  When people ask you how the beach was, extol the virtues of the scenery and the great fun you had watching your dog swim in the surf!

Life is all about choices.  But we've been trained into habits of choosing negative thinking.  We need to practice new habits so we can begin to choose better feeling thoughts and regain our balance.

If you want to thrive and not just survive, you must change your point of attraction, or your vibration.

Changing your vibration is no different from controlling diabetes for a diabetic person.  If someone is living with diabetes, they need to monitor their blood suger levels.  When the levels are out of balance, the diabetic takes steps to bring it back into balance.  If the imbalance is allowed to go unchecked, serious health problems will arise and the diabetic makes the transition back to 100% non-physical.  (100% non-physical is not dead, just not physical.)

To change your point of attraction, you must monitor your emotions.  When they are out of balance to the negative end of the spectrum, you must take steps to bring it back into balance.  If the imbalance is allowed to go unchecked, seriously unwanted situations are attracted to your vibration.  Health (or financial or relationship) problems will arise as the person cuts themselves off from the flow of abundant well-being.

It is important to remember that your current circumstances, whatever they may be, are temporary and that your future circumstances are controlled by your point of attraction.

The keys to rewiring my own point of attraction are meditation and affirmations; a powerful combination.

Meditation trains us to focus our mind: the most powerful tool available to us.  Meditation is not as complicated as most people want to make it.  It simply means putting your focus in one place.  The ticking of a clock, the babbling of a brook, the hum of an air conditioner are wonderful places to put your focus.  Ten to fifteen minutes a day are enough.  Just quiet your mind and allow it some peace for a few minutes.  Like anything, it takes practice.

Affirmations are an effective way to retrain our vibration.  Beliefs are simply thoughts that we have practiced repeatedly.  Affirmations are positive thoughts that uplift our spirits and help us train our vibration into a positive place.  Practice them repeatedly and see how your beliefs and your life change for the better!

Allow yourself space each day to practice.  You deserve it!

June Blooms

Spending time in my garden ALWAYS lifts my spirits.  Right now it is feeling particularly gorgeous and I wanted to share.  Hope you enjoy!

Fantasia dancers!

Future BLTs.    Promises of happy days in August...

Rainbow petunias and ten-year-old begonias.

I was born in June, so for many years roses have been favorites.

I have lots of pretty colors!

Above and below: Betty Boop Roses

I discovered begonias about a dozen years ago.

They LOVE me!

Begonias are now as much a favorite as my roses!

A bowl of Grandma's favorites.

Have a beautiful day!
